The NY/NJ Super Bowl Host Committee
What will Host Committee Volunteers do? Volunteers will serve as meeters and greeters at airport terminals, transit hubs, and other transportation sites, provide information at hotels and tourist locations, and assist visitors at Host Committee events.
Will volunteers be able to choose whether they volunteer in New York or New Jersey locations? Yes, volunteers will be able to choose whether they would like to volunteer in New York or New Jersey locations.
Is there an age requirement? All volunteers must be at least 18 years of age as of November 1st, 2013.
Will volunteers need to attend orientation? All volunteers are required to attend at least one orientation session specific to their volunteer activity.
How many shifts will volunteers have to contribute? Volunteers must contribute a minimum of 2 shifts (4 hour shifts) for the volunteer assignment they choose.
Will there be a need for special skills? Sign-ups for specialized skills such as EMT, bi-lingual, etc. are available on the registration site.
Will volunteers be inside MetLife stadium during Super Bowl XLVIII? On game day, the Host Committee will not require any volunteer support inside MetLife stadium.
Will volunteers receive tickets to the Super Bowl? Volunteers will not receive tickets to the Super Bowl.
